The issued hypercert is a batch of VCU credits recorded at once, comparable to a registry issuance batch. It carries weighted contributors, a work scope and a rights record, so any app in the ATProto Collective Funding Ecosystem can read it natively.

Overview

This small-scale methodology under the Clean Development Mechanism covers renewable electricity generation units that supply power to a grid. Eligible sources include solar photovoltaic, hydro, tidal and wave, wind, geothermal and renewable biomass, either feeding a national or regional grid or supplying an identified consumer through the grid by a contractual arrangement such as wheeling, subject to the small-scale capacity limit. Emission reductions come from displacing grid electricity generated from fossil fuels. One credit is one Certified Emission Reduction equal to one tonne of carbon dioxide equivalent.
